Action Alert:  March 15, 2008:  World Without War:
A Day of Resistance
and Hope

In addition to a protest march to mark five years since the U.S. invasion of Iraq and call for the war and occupation to end, we are planning activities to build a stronger peace movement around the vision of a world without war. 

Volunteer: We need help with the planning and organizing of the events, and on March 15 itself.  Now is a great time to get involved. Go the volunteer page or email volunteer@pdxpeace.org to help.

At present, our web site is still under construction. We are making an effort to present you with our entire spectrum of information and resources.  At this point we can provide you with information regarding civic engagement, political activism, and community development opportunities.  The emphasis of our site is on finding ways we can make a difference.  Check this site later, please.

In brief, you should know the following about us: This organization was first established in 1995 and has been responsible for facilitating communications between unions, non-profits, educators, activists, organizers, and PDX progressives.  Our new business address is at 717 SW King, Suite 61.
We have a small research library, facilities for tutoring, and fabulous views of Portland, Oregon.  This is a secured facility, Please call or e-mail to schedule a visit.  We will be open on March 15, 2008.
